GENERAL TERMS
These terms and conditions are applicable to the supply of all goods/products by Shipshape Tackle, to the Customer. All other terms and conditions, express or implied by statute or otherwise, are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.


PRICE
All prices are quoted in £ Sterling (and are inclusive of VAT), unless otherwise specified.
Internet prices are exclusive to the website only and cannot be repeated in store.

All prices are exclusive of postage and packing, unless otherwise stated.
VAT (if applicable) and carriage (if applicable) are added to your order prior to purchase. You will be given the total price of the transaction including any VAT and carriage before you complete you purchase. There are no hidden extra costs. VAT is included in your order price. Orders delivered to and paid for from outside of EU (European Union) to non-UK businesses may be exempt from VAT. Companies must first contact us with their VAT registration number.


E&OE PAYMENT
Payments must be made in £ Sterling only, unless otherwise specified using any of the cards shown. When you have completed your selections you are automatically transferred to our secure server.

Our secure server is 100% secure and acknowledged as an industry standard for applications requiring a high degree of security.

After placing an order the Customer will receive an e-mail confirmation of order for the purchase.


PASSING OF PROPERTY
Shipshape Tackle shall retain legal title to the products until all payment has been made in full by the Customer.


PASSING OF RISK
The risk on the Products shall pass to the Customer on delivery once the products have been signed for.

United Kingdom Mainland
How much does it cost?
A Standard Delivery cost for most orders to UK mainland addresses* are:

• £3.50 for orders with total amount under £30.00
• £6.95 for orders with total amount over £30.00

* your address is within the UK Mainland if not mentioned in the "UK Islands, Scotland Highlands, Northern Ireland & Eire" section below

From time to time we offer certain products that are carriage free! Please look out for these on the site!

How long does it take?
Items ordered on any business day (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays should be usually delivered within 3 business days (excluding weekend), anytime up to 5.30pm.
Standard delivery will be next day if the order is placed before 12pm and all ordered items are in stock. Under some circumstances we cannot guarantee next day delivery, however every effort is made by ourselves & the couriers to achieve this.

UK Islands, Scotland Highlands, Northern Ireland & Eire.
All the UK's regions and postcodes mentioned below have specific delivery cost & delivery times which are different to the UK Mainland.

How our delivery service works...

Shipshape Tackle try to ensure that the delivery of all products is quick and efficient.

When your order has been packaged and is ready to be sent, we will endeavour to dispatch on the same day and will send you an email of confirmation.

Loss or damage – If on delivery there is no apparent loss or damage and the goods are signed for “clear” you have until 11 am on the next working day to notify us verbally of any loss or damage found after the delivery.

Arrangements will be made for collection, you will need to return the goods within three days with the following information:

  • Consignment Note Number
  • Consignee Address
  • Despatch Date
  • Description of Damaged Lost Goods
  • Value of Claim

Any date or period for delivery shall be considered as indicative only although if a product is in stock, we aim to send it out to you within 48 hours of your order.

If we cannot dispatch an item to you within 21 days of order we will notify you by e-mail and at your request we will cancel the order and refund your money in full. Shipshape Tackle cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by the manufacturer, or any other third party.


All items dispatched by Shipshape Tackle are fully insured during transit.


ACCEPTANCE
The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time after their receipt. (This does not however affect the customer's statutory rights).


GUARANTEE REFUND AND RETURNED GOODS
If any Products supplied should be defective or different from those ordered Shipshape Tackle will provide an immediate full refund on return of Products.
Goods exchanged or replaced for reasons other than complaint will be subject to our postage and packing charges for new orders. We will not accept responsibility for postal charges or lost items when returning non-defective goods. All returned non-defective goods must be in stock condition and in the original packaging.

CANCELLATION
Shipshape Tackle reserves the right to refuse any order or part of order or to require further or better information to enable it to evaluate or process the order.

Shipshape Tackle accepts no liability for any failure to ship products where this results from it inability to do so or its decision on reasonable grounds not to do so, provided it takes all reasonable steps to notify the customer within 14 days of order placement that products will not be shipped as ordered. In such cases Shipshape Tackle will immediately refund any payments made in full. The consumer has the right to cancel their order within 7 working days which starts from the day after the day the customer receives the goods except where the goods are perishable. The customer will have to pay the cost of returning the goods. Shipshape Tackle will refund the customers money within 30 days of cancellation.


LICENCE AGREEMENT
The Customer shall respect all license agreements delivered by the copyright owners. Shipshape Tackle cannot be held responsible for any misuse constructed by the Customer or any third party.


DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If the Customer has any complaint he or she should contact Shipshape Tackle on telephone 01553 764058 or email the complaint to info@shipshapetackle.co.uk. Shipshape Tackle agrees to respond promptly to all complaints in a fair and equitable manner.

Shipshape Tackle and the Customer shall use their best efforts to negotiate in good faith and settle amicably any dispute that may arise out of the supply of Products or these Conditions.

If the parties cannot settle any such dispute within 21 days it shall be determined by an independent third party jointly nominated by the parties ("the third party"). If the parties shall fail to nominate a Third Party within a further 7 days then the Third Party shall be nominated at the request of either party. The consumer is not compelled to take part in these proceedings.

The Third Party shall act as an expert and not as an arbitrator whose decision (including as to costs) shall be final and binding upon the parties.


RETURNING GOODS
If you are not satisfied with any of your purchases then please ring us via telephone on 01553 764058 within 7 days and we will exchange them or refund your payment when the goods are received back by us through the post. Please also ensure you obtain a certificate of posting available free from the post office or send to us by recorded delivery so you have evidence they were posted. Please note that goods will only be exchanged if they have not been used, worn or otherwise soiled and are in their original, undamaged packaging.
If any of the products have been damaged through transit please inform us straight away, before returning the goods to us and we will exchange or offer a full refund. We retain the right to return any products for inspection by the manufacturer before any refunds are made. Shipshape Tackle reserve the right no to issue a refund if the manufacturer confirms that the fault is not of the product.
Any unwanted items that are correctly ordered and despatched must be returned within 14 days. Please ensure you have have spoken to the Returns Department prior to sending the goods.
We will not accept any returns where the sealed packaging has been opened for audio or video recordings.


COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be made directly to Shipshape Tackle either via email or in writing. We will aim to respond to you within one working week and endeavour to finalize the problem within two working weeks.

YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
We fully conform to the Data Protection Act and will not release any personal information to any establishments outside Shipshape Tackle without permission.


LAW
These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
